Arts is an expression which has immediate rewards, focuses on positive achievements, develop concrete products and fosters collaboration. It provides many opportunities for pupils to demonstrate their skills through authentic performance. Arts enable children to grow in confidence and learn how to think positively about themselves and learning. Arts education helps make learning matter to pupils by giving them a medium to connect new knowledge to personal experiences and express what they have learned to others.

In ShineForte International School, Art is divided into Visual and Performing Arts. There is an art club which aside the school-curriculum is tailored to provide an ideal environment for pupils to improve their creative skills

All pupils in the junior school are taught music as part of the curriculum and those who wish to continue studying music in the senior school are given the opportunity.

There are weekly music practices for the whole school as part of the extra-curricular activities in the school.  However, enrolled stars learn to play a wide variety of musical instruments through a well-structured music programme.

We have a vibrant and highly trained school choir, an efficient orchestra and a marching band, with periodic performances to thrill guests within and outside the school.

There is a speech class which forms a part of pupils’ extra-curricular activities (Art club). The club welcomes pupils of all classes and it is aimed at developing the public speaking skills of the pupils.

There is also dance and drama classes which is a subgroup in the art club.

The school boasts of a state-of-the-art studio for drawing, painting, sculpting and photography, clay modelling, Tie and Dye and lastly Print Making. Here, pupils are taught in these fields of art to give way to the expression of feeling, emotion, opinion or taste through visual means. This also forms part of the curriculum in developing the creative talents and abilities of the child. There is an art gallery in which artworks done by pupils are displayed for guests and possibly interested buyers on special arrangements.
