Teaching Methods

The school adopts innovative but proven methods of teaching in line with the world best practices. Our teaching staff is well trained on best techniques and possess a wide range of teaching styles with the ability to know what pupils understand and then forging connections between what is known and what is new.

Our teaching principles are hinged on these 6 key deliverables;

Appropriate assessment and feedback
Clear goals and intellectual challenge
Independence, control and active engagement
Learning from pupils
Interest and explanation
Concern and respect for pupils and student learning

Oftentimes, pupils are given tasks in form of group and individual project (term thesis), to freely use all available information sources and present their research findings. They will learn how to carefully organize their thoughts, then present those thoughts in acceptable formats (usually with modern presentation tools such as multimedia projector, slides, light pens etc.)
